On the 12th October the Lord Lyon and Scottish interfaith leaders including the Lord Provost of Edinburgh met in the Lord Provost’s Chambers to light candles for hope and commemorate the sacrifice of Iman Hussain of the Muslim faith.

Arms for Greenock Burns Club
The Lord Lyon presented Letters Patent to Greenock Burns Club (the Mother Club) on the 5th October at the Club's meeting. The crest is Highland Mary's Memorial in Greenock. The artist is Elle Colverson.

Lyon visits HES
The Lord Lyon visited the Historic Environment Scotland St Ann Workshop to thank the crafts folk for all the expert work they carried our for the royal ceremonies. He was presented with a copy of a roundel made for the Stone of Destiny from the Royal Honours Service.
