International Women's Day

On International Women's Day, we salute two ladies whose arms are recorded in Volume One of the Lyon Register (1672-7): Grizel Durham, Countess of Middleton, sister of a Lord Lyon and ancestress of HM the Queen, and Grace Graden, Heiress of Earnshaw.
