Falkland at the Glasgow Highland Club
Last night at the Glasgow Highland Club's Dinner (in the Glasgow Art Club), its President, Roderick Alexander Macpherson, Falkland Pursuivant, gave a rare rendition of the original words of "Macpherson's Rant" (to its own proper tune), as found in the c.1700 broadside in the National Library of Scotland.
The photograph shows Falkland beside the statue of James Macpherson at Holyroodhouse.
