Lyon at the Scottish Genealogy Society

The Scottish Genealogy Society held its AGM in Edinburgh tonight. The Lord Lyon as Honorary President was in the Chair and gave a lecture afterwards on the topic "What is a Clan?" and developed the question of whether the "Border Clans" are Clans. A lively discussion ensued.
