Feast of St Margaret of Scotland

 Today is the Feast of St Margaret, Queen and Patroness of Scotland. The arms anachronistically ascribed to Margaret, having previously been equally anachronistically ascribed to her kinsman, Edward the Confessor, have led to some very beautiful heraldry.
