Blessing of Letters Patent

 The Lord Lyon attended the blessing on Sunday of the Letters Patent granting arms to Col. David Cobbett in St John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Inverdruie, by Aviemore. The blessing was conducted by the Rev Canon Tony Sparham during morning service



The blazon reads: Argent, a chevron couped Azure between three corbies rising Sable membered and langued Gules, each holding in their dexter claw  a locomotive driving wheel Vert. His crest remembers the descents of his late wife Beatrix through Ogilvie and Cockburn.
